constant migraines and pressure on the right and left side of my head!

I'm 17 years old, and for majority of my teenage years I've been constantly sick with all sorts of things mainly after i was diagnosed with Glandular fever. It's been one of the toughest things to deal with, constantly being sick at my age, and has affected my schooling and social life in my ways as i will catch just about any bug that's in the air. But for the last two months I've started to get headaches and really bad fatigue i'm just constantly tired.Recently the headaches have turned into bad migraines and now i get a bad pressure feeling on the right and left side of my head. It's sensitive to touch and the pressure is now on the backs of my eyes. they get worse when i take foot steps and in light. I find the only way to make them go away is to put myself to bed and sleep them off.

I've been back and forth to the doctor but they haven't tested for anything with my headaches just keep telling me it's anxiety and want me to do a food elimination process but I'm convinced it's not anxiety.

Hi,

Folic acid is Vitamin B 9 and is found in abundance in green leafy vegetables. B complex vitamins would contain other B vitamins also like B 12 and B6 along with Folic acid.

Thanks

Hey,

thanks for replying.
yeah i might start to record my migraine pattern to see if there is anything there, as for the foods that's not a problem since i hardly ever eat any of those things but i'll be sure to stick away from them regardless. My doctor put me on Folic acid because i had a high red blood cell count is that the same as a b complex? it was suppose to help with my fatigue also but it hasn't really made much of an improvement. I'm considering going back to my doctor and seeing what other alternatives it might be, she did an x-ray of my sinuses last time but they all came back clear.

thanks for your input anyway

Hi,

Thanks for posting.
The possibility that your headaches are due to migraines is very much there. I would suggest you to maintain a headache diary or use the migraine tracker to identify the triggers for your headache. Also cut down the consumption of processed meats, cheese, foods with MSG, artificial sweeteners like aspartame and all canned food because these are known triggers for migraine.
You can also discuss with your doctor about taking magnesium and B complex supplements as their deficiency results in chronic headache.
