How are you? Ptosis or drooping eyelid can be attributed to weakness of the muscle responsible for raising the eyelid, damage to the nerves that control those muscles, or looseness of the skin of the upper eyelids. This can be a part of aging process or the result of an injury or disease. You may need to have this checked by your doctor for proper evaluation. Direct clinical examination and diagnostic tests will help determine the cause. The expected outcome depends on the cause. Take care and best regards.
