head and ear ache

pain on right side of scalp, ear and throat.  started with tenderness in right eye and ear and now head is just aching so bad for 3 days now.  what could this be?

Also,with regards to the ear pain, direct examination with otoscope will help rule out ear conditions such as infection or inflammation. Best.

How are you? Are there other symptoms present? Was there previous history of trauma or injury to the head or neck? If there is none, this could be due to primary headaches such as migraine, tension or cluster headaches. Migraine headaches usually present with one sided throbbing headaches associated with nausea, vomiting and sensitivity to light or sound. While cluster headache usually present with headache and pain in the vicinity of the eye that could last for a few days. If there is no stress during this time, tension headache can be ruled out. Rest, ice pack, avoidance of triggers and pain medications may hep. However, it is best that you have this checked by your doctor for proper evaluation. Complete neurological examination and imaging studies like MRI may help with the diagnosis. Take care and do keep us posted.
