unfortunately, there has been no change in her condition as she travels from Georgia to Florida, particularly as we go through Jacksonville to Orlando. it starts with a cough and then the extreme headache, then the pain in her veins and arteries, this was as recent as yesterday 5/1/2012. while she is in Florida the pain continues but becomes bearable. when we return to Georgia, it becomes extreme and then as we get to savannah and then home it becomes bearable and then subsides. then she is completely exhausted. in a day or two she will be okay. i wish the doctors were in the car when it happens. thanks Doctor, hope you can help.
Hi,
How is your wife? On the contrary, altitudes usually cause headaches such as in the case of altitude sickness. It is important that the trigger of her headache be identified to be able to avoid them. Triggers such as stress, food, allergic reactions, and environmental factors may also play an important role in headaches. If her headaches persist, further evaluation may need to be done to determine the underlying cause. Take care and best regards.
Altitude is a known trigger for migraine headaches. Has she ever been diagnosed with migraine headaches before?
