Hi,
How are you? You need to have this evaluated further by a neurologist for proper management. Imaging modalities such as CT scan is important to help with the diagnosis and to rule out secondary causes. There are a lot of medications available to help provide relief. Both abortive and preventive medicines help. It is also important to identify the possible triggers to prevent recurrences. A headache journal and the migraine tracker here in the forum may help. Hang on and do keep us posted.
As a long term migraine sufferer, yes there is help. The first course is generally a CT scan to make sure that there is no serious vascular issue such as aneurism, or a neck, sinus, or eye problem. Then there are a variety of meds that can help prevent and treat migraine headache. The type of med is important because many pain meds will actually cause a rebound headache which creates a vicious cycle. You need a neurologist who specializes in headache or a headache clinic. You may have to travel a bit to find one unless you are lucky to have one in your area.
