Hi,
How are you? Thank you for the update. It is good that CT scan and blood tests were done and results were also normal. If the medications given are not working well, you may benefit from further evaluation to rule out dysfunction of the vestibular system. Take care and hope to hear from you soon.
On Tuesday, Aug. 10, 2010, I finally went to the doctor's office not an ENT. The symptoms were unbearable. The headache, pressure in my head, stiff neck , and the dizzieness had to be treated. I had a ct scan and blood work. All was well. I was prescribed meclizine and ibuprofen . I just took the first dose of both medications, I hope this will help me. I will post at a later date how I am feeling. Thanks for your response.
Hi,
How are you? Vertigo is due to a dysfunction of the vestibular system in the inner ear.It can also be classified into either peripheral or central depending on the location of the dysfunction of the vestibular pathway.Check with your ENT first for proper evaluation. Any issue in your ear should be ruled out. Take care and do keep us posted.
