Tungjatjeta Durim. Mirë se vjen. (I'm originally from greece and I have friends who live above my parents' house. They taught me a few words in Albanian)

Good advice from Dani.
It is probably induced by the stress that comes with being in Medical School
but likely rooted in your subconscious.
I'm still at work and I only have a minute.

Do you remember in the past swallowing( or perhaps getting stuck in your throat) a chicken or a fish bone or any other object?
You may have no recollection of this, if you were very young, so you may have to ask your mom or dad. It might have been a traumatic event for you at the time, experiencing substantial anxiety and stress , if indeed it did take place.

I'll post again later when I'll have more time.

Mirupafshim!

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi Durim,

I'm not exactly sure your question, but it seems that you are feeling anxious and worried.  Medical school (trust me I've been there;)  can be extremely stressful both because of long work and study hours and emotional stress and if you are feeling low mood-wise, I'd encourage you to see your school's counselor to get some 1-1 support.  Generally speaking, yoga and meditation are wonderful tools for helping with managing stress and anxiety, and you can actually affect your brain in a positive way by doing one of these  mindbody practices regularly, just for 15 minutes a day.  I started doing yoga in medical school to help with stress and now I teach it worldwide and it's part of my medical practice, so it's a great tool;)  But the most important thing is not to suffer in silence, and go and see someone in person for support now, so you can start feeling better soon
