i took a pregnancy test this am...and BFN....its my first cycle since my m/c on aug 21....i started af on 9/28....and i figured my body went back to its normal stage...every 28 days...any words of wisdom..please advise!

My cycle has been crazy since my m/c on Aug 7...I'm going to look at that site you were talking about! Hopefully you will be getting you BFP in the next few days!!!! Make sure you get a test that picks up HCG levels early if you want to test before it's time for AF! GOOD LUCK and lots of BABY DUST!

LH is (crud I can't spell it . . .) Luetenizing Hormone.  It is something that your body produces during your entire cycle, but surges just prior to O.

There are a lot of people on this forum who are TTC.  We try to keep up with our cycle buddies.  I know that there is someone else out there in the dreaded TWW.  You could start a new post so you guys can comiserate and compare POAS LOL.  I'm not quite there yet, or I would start one.  Still hoping I'm off on my days and didn't O yet, but I'm pretty sure I did.

OPK - ovulation pregnancy kit.  You buy a pack of them and then around CD8 or 9 (I can't remember) in the afternoon (not morning!) you POAS.  It will tell you if your LH is surging.  Once your LH surges you can expect to O in the next 24 hours.  It is different then a HPT, so you have to read the instructions.

Our first TTC we didn't use them and it took 2 years, so I have a vague feeling I may have been off on my timing.  It's just one more way to look at your cycle.

Well, if your a consistent 28 days, then your not scheduled for AF till 10/26 right?  There is still hope - SSBD! :)

thank you for your response...im every 28 days...at least i was before m/c...and i got af 4 weeks after her on 9/28....so i just use a calculator online, the one i used when i did get pregnant....babyzone...and i have sex starting at day 10...through day 16.....i tried one month and got pregnant last time...with babyzone..never used opk, what are they, how do they work?

If you are only 10 dpo then there is still hope.  You may have tested too early.  I have the same questions as bam: are you tracking ovulation?  Good luck, and keep trying :)

I also got a BFN my first cycle after m/c.  I can understand your disappointment.  Is there still any hope, or is AF on her way?

Have you tried OPK's or are you using another method to track your O?  I would think that would be the first easiest step to make sure you are getting your timing right.
