I had an ectopic pregnancy 7 years ago. I can not even remember what side it was. I went through depression for months after. I now have a healthy 3 year old. I call her my miracle. I am 32 and want to have another baby before I am 35. I have been trying for a year now. I wish there was a certain thing that could help women who have had this horable thing happen to make it easier to try again. Do not give up. I waited almost 4 years to have my Isabella. Once you do get pregnant again, go to the doctor every day until they tell you that the baby is no longer in your fallopian tube. Then relax and enjoy growing with your baby.

At 18 last july i had an ectopic pregnancy, my left tube ruptured and i was rushed into theatre.
You can still fall pregnant after an ectopic, I fell pregnant ansd was seven weeks but sadly on the 13th this month  i had a miscariage.
My periods were all over the place and sometimes i bled for more than a week, this si natural.
My mum herself had ectopic for the first child, and she has me and my two brothers!
Theres always hope :)
So sorry for your loss, i totally understand how you feel!

I know what you mean. I delivered my son in Oct. 08 at 5 months, his heart stopped beating. I didn't get pregnant again until Nov.09 ended up being a chemical pregnancy, then found out I was pregnant in April and had a m/c last Wednesday. I have an appointment on the 26th so i'm hoping to get some answers since this is my 5th loss. My biggest fear is that age is not on my side.       Lori

I lost my right tube. Which one did you lose? I thought I would never get pg again either as I basically gave up trying because I was afraid of what may happen. when I did find out, I was closely monitored and everything went perfect. I really can't remember if my periods were normal because I believe I only had 1 after surgery and then became pregnant again. Were your periods normal before your ectopic???

I'm so sorry for your loss. I also suffered an ectopic in 1996 which resulted in the loss of my tube and i'm happy to say that I became pregnant shortly after and gave birth to a healthy baby boy the following year in 1997, so yes it is possible. Good luck to you.

Hi i suffered an ectopic 21 dec 2008, i have not managed to get pregnant since but i havent really been trying as such, my aunt had an ectopic and had a baby after my friend had one and she had a baby after.  ectopic isnt a miscarriage it a lot worse, i lost my tube and almost died as it had ruptured causing me to bleed intenally resulting in 45% of my bodies blood being lost and need blood transfusions.  I am going to start trying properly soon to concieve but i know it is going to be touch as i only have one tube and i just pray to god it wont be so hard.  wish you all the best. if you didnt lose a tube it will be easier for you.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I have not had ectopic pg I wish I could be more help. Every woman's body recovers from a m/c differently the best thing to do is to talk with your dr and be sure to have follow up apps etc in regards to having another baby. I'm sorry I wish I could be more help. Take care and best wishes to you...
