There are a few different things that could be happening. One is that your dates are off. In all honesty at 6W5D there is typically a sac, fetal pole and it's not uncommon to see the hb. However, if you are even a week off on your dates, its a very different story. However, a sac is usually visible at about 5 weeks, although they may need to do transvaginal u/s. If the bleeding was the beginning of a loss, it would have been more for longer. Very early pregnancy losses often pass without too much in the way of clotting, it can be just like a heavy period. Etopic is also a possibility, as is blighted ovum as the above poster mentioned.
Are they monitoring your beta levels?
Unfortunately at this point there is nothing to be done except wait and see. I know that is the worse feeling and I sure wish there was something else I could tell you.
I hope all turns out well and wish you well.
6w5d can be a little early to see something, especially if your dates happen to be a little off (ovulation can occur later in some women). If you are in fact 6w5d, and they saw nothing, they should have been able to see something in your tubes, even if it was small, to detect an ectopic. I would wait at the very least another week, and have another vaginal U/S. I know how stressful this can be, last year I got my BFP and for the first 7 weeks, we couldn't find anything - but my levels were all going up, I had all the symptoms, but no baby. I was going in every other day for U/S and levels, and they finally saw a tiny sac develop in the wrong spot, just at the bottom of my tubes with nothing in it. It's called a blighted ovum, and it's incredibly common. I am sending lots of SSBD your way and hope that maybe your bean has decided to play hide and seek!!!
