Hcg Level scare. I go for 1 more test tomorrow or Karman Cannula on Thursay :(

Hey im new.

A little about me.
27 yr old mom to 3 boys & step mom to a little girl
I had tubal ligation Dec 2003
I had Tubal Reversal Nov 2009

Became pregnant 2 days after Tubal Reversal surgery. Conceie very quickly.
At 4 week and 3 days I "supposedly" miscarried. Dec 21st 2009
Went to a ER. They told me that I naturally miscarried and was okay to ttc when we felt okay to.
Well at that ER never did hCG levels on me so I never knew what my first set of numbers would have been.

Okay so long story short, On New Years eve, I began bleeding once again.
Went to a different ER where they did hCG levels, u/s and pelvic exam.

I was in the hospital for 5 hours.

So here are my dates and levels

Jan 1st 232
Jan 4th 322
The numbers are not doubling. They are rising but not doubling. My OB/GYN did not want to do another hcg test on me and had already scheduled me for a procedure called Karmen Cannula?!?!? Anyone have this before?

But I asked for 1 more hCG level because of all the posts I read on here when women have found their babies in the last ultrasound or had their hCG levels skyrocket! I dont want to harm my pregnancy if its just slow. So What if my numbers are still low tomorrow and my doctor tells me we have to do the Karman Cannula? Im afraid that my baby just needs more time. But idk. Im mentally exhausted. Is there anyone here that had a tubal reversal surgery and went through this? Any help is appreciated.

I am not sure if this is one m/c or two but I would think the best thing to do is get D&C.  It will help on getting you cleaned out & able to start fresh.

Good Luck to you.

I'm so sorry that you are going through this.  I also have not had a tubal ligation OR reversal but I would like to suggest that you go with your gut.

No matter what happens (& of course we hope for the best) I feel it always best to go with what your heart, mind & gut tell you.  There are no risks to waiting & making 100% sure.

I have not heard of a "Karman Cannula" procedure.  My research shows that it is actually an instrument used in the performance of D&Cs.

I also think that if your OB is making you feel pressured into it & is unwilling to wait, get a 2nd opinion & find a new OB.

I'm crossing my fingers for you.  Keep us updated!!

Namaste!
