Is it possible to have 2 miscarriages in 4 months?

Back in May I experienced what i assumed was a miscarriage even though i had a negative pregnancy test, the pain i experienced was sudden and felt like contractions, the pain was excruciating.
i dont get a period as i am on a combined pill which stops it, however i did miss days here and there so there was a chance of a pregnancy. So the bleeding started that morning, the pain came at night but would come and go & when it came i was almost in tears, then it all of a sudden stopped and i passed a very large white looking blood clot. It did not look normal atall and i was 99% sure it was a miscarriage, i went to a doctor a couple days after and i came out crying because he made me feel so low and stupid. So i left not knowing what it could of been. - i once again havent had my period since then and had trouble with ordering my pill in so there was a big gap. Once again the exact same thing happened, as soon as the bleeding came i got a gut feeling, the pain came later that night, i felt extremely faint, my back ached and the pain came and went, then i literally felt it come slipping from me, once again the exact same massive blood clot. -

i took 3 pregnancy tests, all negative. I even got an expensive one to make sure.

after my last experience with doctors i am extremely anxious to go again. (i have booked an appointment with my gp)

the bleeding stopped the day after but my tummy just felt very weird, like that empty feeling you get when ur hungry.

do you think this is blood clots due to my pill?
can you have a miscarriage with a negative pregnancy test?

Yes,  you can have a miscarriage with negative pregnancy tests.  A very early failed pregnancy often doesn't generate enough pregnancy hormone to appear on a home pregnancy test.  It's possible both of those were very early miscarriages,  before the embryo really starts to grow.  When you go see your GP you might want to discuss alternative birth control forms that would be more reliable for you.

Best wishes.
