Long flight travel may risk in miscarriages?

Dear all,

I have read that travelling when pregnant is basically safe until 2nd trimester.
What about long flight (20+hrs)  on first trimester pregnancy.. is it may risk in miscarriages ?

Thank you

if you are late then it should show up as a positive hpt if you are pregnant .. I would do this or get a bt if you really think you might be

I know what it's like when you're ttc but have a lot on .. but the truth is .. if you have been trying and do get your bfp now .. nothing else will matter!

I've been wondering the same thing... I'm late with my period (only a few days, but I've had some other possible early preg. symptoms).  I'm due to leave on a work trip in 10 days-- flying to Siberia from California.  One of my flights will be 6 hours long, the other 13.  I've been ttc, but honestly, hadn't really wanted to happen this month...

My doctor told me, when I asked the same question, that traveling itself does not increase the risk of miscarriage.  You may not feel too wonderful, but you should be safe.
