Medical abortion (medical reason) no period, trying for a baby

I had a medical abortion on July 19 due there not being any fetal pole for three weeks in a row at almost 7 weeks gestation! My fiancé and I had unprotected sex (he ejaculated inside me as we are trying) two  days after the procedure and have been on and off quite a bit there on out! I spotted on the day of the procedure and nothing really after except for maybe a week after and I spotted a little for that day! My breast have been very tender and sensitive and I have been nauseated off and on! My sex drive last week was insane, like I couldn't get enough, not the past two days I could care less for it! I've been emotional as well! I'm asking for a little insight on this, I've had one tubal pregnancy, one miscarriage, two live births (c-sections), and this medical abortion! I didn't have to have a d n c for my miscarriage so I don't know what's going on!

Blood work confirmed the pregnancy! Hpts showed negative! Sunday went to er for cramping and brown discharge and my levels were super low and they told me it wouldn't be a viable pregnancy due to it being so soon after! Well Monday I started bleeding heavily and have been bleeding since then! All pregnancy symptoms have subsided as well!

Hi there.  I'm sorry for your loss.  It has been 4 weeks since your procedure approximately.  Given that you had a D&C, your hcg levels (and your pregnancy symptoms) should have disappeared right away.  After a procedure like this women will ovulate anywhere from a few days to a few weeks afterward.  So yes, a new pregnancy is completely possible.  It is also possible that the symptoms are part of your hormones readjusting or even that the D&C was incomplete (rare, but it happens).  Try a home pregnancy test.  If positive, see your Dr. for bloodwork.  2 blood tests a few days apart will tell you if levels are rising.  If that is the case, then yes, this very well could be a new pregnancy (I conceived my son immediately after a loss prior to having a period - it isn't uncommon at all).  All the best to you.

When you say medical abortion. Was this done by procedure or pills? Medical abortions are usually done with the pills. But from your descritpiton, seems more like you had surgery (vacum aspiration) just want to clarify?
