Miscarriage at 4 weeks?

Hi, okay I have an odd question, but is it possible to Miscarry at 4 weeks and be aware of it?

I wasn't sure if I was pregnant, I had all the symptoms of an early pregnancy, but I woke up this morning to extreme cramping...WORSE than my regular period cramps and then after I could move 20 minutes later, I went to the bathroom and there was a lot of blood, and tissue or well clots? in the toilet.

Is this what I think it is?

Its very possible.  I had one at that time...I wouldn't have even known I was pregnant if I hadn't had a positive on an early home pregnancy test 2 days earlier.  They refer to it as a chemical pregnancy, and apparantly its extremely common.  You might want to talk to your Dr. about it.  I wish you well, take care.
