Miscarriage update, with weird results

Ok....to refresh, on 12/1 I was told the HCG level is 28....on 12/5 it was 18...on 12/6 to 12/13 I had the pending miscarriage....on 12/12 the nurse gives me BC pills (YAZ) to help regulate my irregular cycles and she takes more blood to make sure that I am back down to zero. On 12/15 the doctor calls and says that the blood clotted and they couldn't test it, but TODAY they call me and tell me that my level was 41 on the test result from the 12th.....of course I questioned it.....and they took MORE blood, but I am scared that perhaps I had a miscarriage, but it isn't completed??? I glanced at my chart, and it said INCPLT SPON AB. Which I am taking this as meaning Incomplete Spontaneous Abortion. They have not offered ultra sound, or anything to determine if everything has left my body. I am confused, and worried. I called another OB/GYN and they said they should of done an ultrasound.....when they found out I was pregnant and didn't know when I concieved. Sorry you may have to look at previous posts to understand my situation....

I'm sorry, I mis-read that. Did they mention anything at all about doing an ultrasound? Are you still spotting from the m/c?

No, they went from 28 to 18 to 41.....not an appropriate decrease.
However, it was an awful M/C......very heavy (I know TMI) but I thought I was done with this, but now it's like, they're saying my levels are going up again....

Do you know the results yet from the last blood draw? Maybe they are saying incomplete m/c due to the fact that your hcg levels are not back down to normal???, that you are still in the process of the m/c?? If you are not passing everything then they should do an ultrasound, but I spotted for 6 weeks with my m/c, and they never did an ultrasound. My Dr told me that they know everything is out of my body when my levels go back down to <5. She also said it takes about 6 weeks for hormone levels to return to normal. Sounds like they are decreasing appropriately (pending the new result). Let us know what you find out with the latest hcg level.
