Multiple Miscarriages

In November I found out the baby's heartbeat had stopped growing at 5 weeks. It was a missed miscarriage. I ended up having the miscarriage in December. In January, I got pregnant again. I got to see the heartbeat at 6 weeks and it was 70bpm. The doctors did not tell me this was low. They said it was perfect. At 9 weeks (this past Sunday), I started spotting and went to the doctor and there was no heartbeart. I have already miscarried this one since then. Anyway, I have an appointment on Monday to discuss how to move forward from here and I'm wondering what kind of tests I should request since I've had multiple miscarriages and something could be wrong.

A lot of times there wont be an explanation.  I've lost 6. Have 2 healthy kids in between. Was told by my dr its flukey! A couple of them were chromasomal which is very common. Some werent tested b/c there wasnt anything to test (they were just like a period) and one was tested that had nothing wrong!! Could have been bad implantation. Very frustrating. One test to ask for it MTHFR. If this gene is defective it can cause multiple misscariages. You can read about it at mthfr.net

I'm sorry For Your Loss. I Had 4 Miscarriages Before I Had My Daughter 9 Months Ago. Then Another Miscarriage In December And Now had My 6Th Miscarriage 2 weeks ago At 7 Weeks, So I Know How You Feel And My Thoughts And Prayers Are With You:)Its possible for a healthy pregnancy after a loss I had my daughter after four losses in a row:) I wish you luck with everything and try to stay positive even tho it may be hard. After my second loss they found I have a blood clotting issue that requires lovonox injections while pregnant but after that i still had two more loses, but then i saw a specialist who deals with multiple miscarriages and found that I have hosimotos thyroiditis by testing my thyroid cuz the specialist said there is a huge connection between thyroid issues and multiple losses. So after getting my thyroid levels regulated with medication I had a successful pregnancy and my healthy baby girl. After having her I had two more losses but my thyroid levels were all crazy that may have lead to  last two losses so my endocrinologist changed my meds and now I gotta wait til my thyroid levels get in check (it takes 5weeks for the thyroid meds to take full effect) I wish you luck in your journey just make sure they check your thyroid levels :)
