Period after miscarriage

I had a miscarriage in January.  After 30 days, in February I had a slight period, maybe 2 days, very light.  In March, I had a slight period - 3 days, very light.  After this period, I got back on birth control.  The week before I was supposed to start my period (based on my pills), I started spotting.  The week I was supposed to start my period (while taking the white pills), I hardly bled at all, a little spotting.  So I started my pills on Sunday and by Monday I was bleeding an abnormal amount.  I passed so much blood that by noon I was dizzy and had to go home and lie down.  The second day, I passed blood but it has gradually decreased in volume; however I have been bleeding for 11 days now.  It is barely anything but everytime I go to the bathroom, there is blood in the toilet.  I don't have any pain - just the first day of the heavy bleeding, I had normal cramps but that was it.  Is this just my body adjusting after a natural miscarriage?  I don't want to have to go to the doctor because my experience with my OBGYN while having my miscarriage was horrendous.  Thanks

I haven't gotten tested to see if I have a fibroid but I guess I need to....I am very confused because I have seen a LOT of clots that have just sunk to the bottom of the toilet.  I feel like I am going to bleed to death.  When is this going to end?  I guess a D&C would have been the way to go - that way it would already be over with but my doctor did not suggest this....I guess I will have to wait it out and see.  thanks so much for responding.  It is nice to know that I am not alone.

I am very sorry for your loss.  It seems that we are both in the same boat here (confused...). I m/c on Feb.14, 2010 I was told it was a natural m/c but I've been throgh alot since then.  

Tuesday this week I started seeing blood for the first time since Feb. but only when I used the bathroom. Wednesday TMI i started seeing more but this time it sank to the bottom of the toliet it looked like some clear mucus mix with it. and today i had to wear a pad because it started to run more.  

My cycle used to be every 28 days and stayed very heavey for the whole duration of the 7 days. This is because I have one submucusal fibroide on my right side of my u/t which i have to have surgery to get it out so I will be able to concieve again. I am very confused of this period or if it is a period...i was told that the fibroid can bleed but i don't know what I am experienceing but wishing it is a first period. I guess I would have to wait till May to see what happens...that would be period #2 i hope.
