Possible Miscarrige

I am devisated. This is my first pregnancy, we just bought a new house, planning which room we were going to have as the nursery. I had a ultrasound on Monday, should be 7 weeks, the heart beat was only 73 bpm. I go back on the morning to check to see if I will progress or if this is it.  I have been crying for the last 3 days.  They want to do a d&c. Anyone been through this? What should I expect? I am going to wait until at least next Monday when I see my regular doctor.

if you are close to the right size and still a heartbeat there IS hope !

Make sure you check for progesterone levels as well as heartbeat at your next visit. i was lacking progesterone to substain my 1st two pregnancies. but with supliaments early on my 3rd and 4th babies were healthy and now are 17 and 11 yrs old and still healthy. Good luck and God bless !!

They said about 6 weeks. Not sure if the baby got any bigger since Monday or not. I didn't even want to look. Based on my first ultrasound I should be at 7 weeks.

I haven't personally experienced this but what I can tell you is amazing things happen inside the womb. Don't give up hope yet, and don't stress yourself out, it won't help bubby, or yourself for that matter.. I personally wouldn't get a DnC unless bubs heartbeat was gone completely.. But that's just me. But I did miscarry my first 30% their first and I did (at 9+5). And I'll be 20 weeks tomorrow with my rainbow baby. Just because I said that doesn't mean I don't believe on your babies ability to survive. Chin up, believe in your baby.(:
