Pregnant two weeks after miscarriage?

I recently had a miscarriage 3/23/2010 I was 5wks 4 days. The bleeding lasted 7 days...as soon as the bleeding stopped my partner and I began to have sex again (in fact we actually had sex while I was still spotting(last day). I noticed on 4/5/2010 I had light pink spotting that resembled Implantation Bleeding. It only lasted one day. Could I be pregnant? I have been pregnant two times. The first time I noticed implantation bleeding(abortion), the 2nd time I had no bleeding but I miscarried. If I had not just had a miscarriage I would definately think that I was pregnant. Any Suggustions would be greatly appreciated.

from experiance id say the bronish discharge u have maybe old blood high in the vagina, common and normal.
try and relax n dont put pressure on yaself to fall so quickly. i had a friend who was busting her guts to fall again n when she stopped putting the pressure on herself it happened so being a mother of 6 kids id always recomend for u to just relax and i know its hard but its important.. best of luck tamtam305 xxx

well it is week 5 and still no period...i spotted light pink on 4/5/10. I am soooooo nervous. I have doctor appointment scheduled for 5/6/10. I pray all goes well and God blesses me with a healthy pregnancy.

Hi thank you very much! If you've conceived it could be implantation bleeding, but theirs no sure way to know. You'd have to go to the doctors to confirm with a HPT and a blood test to see if you are in fact pregnant. Have you taken a HPT yet? You can get some at the dollar store they have worked good for me in the past seeing as the other tests are really expensive. If not then it could be your period finally coming I hope it isn't for you though. If it is your period and you want to try again I would suggest getting some OPK to find out when your most fertile day is and also get a BBT. These have been a very great guide for me.(not sure if you're familiar with either) Feel free to ask me any questions. Hope you get a BFP!!! You will be in my prayers!

Im not sure if that is normal as I have had two prior m/c and no successful pregnancies yet. I would definitely call your doctor and try to get an earlier appointment. And btw CONGRATS on your BFP!! I hope mine comes soon as well.

Its 10:13 pm and I just started to bleed lightly it came out a dark brownish color..is that normal

Hi to answer your question yes it is possible to get pregnant a few weeks after a miscarriage. Did the doctors follow your hCG numbers down to 5? I also had a miscarriage on March 16th,  the doctor followed my numbers down to 32 then a week and a half later I took 2 HPT and they were negative(meaning no longer pregnant). My hubby and I started TTC about April 1st we used OPK and BBT(also cervical position). I ovulated on the 3rd and took a HPT on April 16th it was positive then I took another 2 HPT on April 17th(FMU) they too were positive. (now am 5 weeks post miscarriage)I have a doctors appointment on Wednesday to double check if it IS a new pregnancy or just hCG from the previous pregnancy. I'm pretty sure its new, but hey you never know. So if I were you I would take a HPT to check or go to the doctors and get a blood test. Let me know what happens.

I only spotted for one day...I have still not had a period yet and it will be 4 wks on tuesday...finger crossed on both hands... :-)

hi... im actually going trhough the exact same thing as u.
i had my m/c on the 30th and have been spotting pinkish
brownish. hope all goes well for us. fingers crossed!

I did bleed until 3/30. My cycles have never been regular enough to use as an indicator. I know my body well enough to  wonder if this was a possible pregnancy. I spoke with my dr who let me know it could b a possibility. Using past experiences I feel optimistic...am I reaching?

If you bled up until the 30th March then it would mean you would have had to have ovulated in those couple of days following.  What is your normal cycle length?  I've been reading a lot on implantation bleeding and it seems that it can occur as early as 4 days post ovulation up to about 12 days ovulation.  So there is a very slim chance.  I'd try not to get too excited about it though as it could just be breakthrough bleeding (hard not to I know).  You won't really know until your next AF is due.
