TTC After Miscarriage

I recently had a miscarriage, June 7th. I bled for a solid week prior, and about a week after as well. It was a weird time, I wasn't able to get to a doctor right away and we had a scheduled vacation 5 days later. We returned this past Sunday. I was able to make contact with my doctor, have a phone conversation, and schedule some blood work to start. While at work today, my nurse practitioner left me a voicemail about Friday's results. She said my levels are still "low" and I should refrain from unprotected sex at this time. Well, unfortunately it's a little late for that. My husband and I haven't been going at it like crazy, but at the same time we've probably BD'd at least a few times. I've read online that many people didn't wait the recommended 3 months or first cycle time....my question is did you wait until your levels dropped to 0?!? I plan on being honest with my nurse and hoping to be able to reach her tomorrow!! Hopefully she doesn't tell me I've done something terribly wrong!!

Oh man that doesn't sound good! I too try to avoid er rooms and emergency services but bases on what you're saying I think it might be necessary!! My miscarriage consisted of the worst cramps of my life and a lot of bleeding but once it was done, I felt a 100% better and bounced back to normal within a few days. If you're still struggling with pain, I'd get checked out!!

I lost a pregnancy in march due to ectopic... my doc told me that I can start trying provided I keep taking my folic acid tablets on time without fail . . I still waited for 1 cycle ... and here I am pregnant again.... so even if you don't wait for a cycle u can TTC.... but pls take prenatal.... all the best
