clots between period

I was diagnosed with multiple fibroids and last month I was in the ER due to a 6cm cyst on my right ovary.  The sudden pain occured on the 17th day of my cycle. I was simply treated with pain medication and approximately 5 days later the pain subsided. I am having pain on my Right lower abdomen again and this is the 15-17th days of my cycle again.  The major difference is that I passed a large clot yesterday and a small clot today with no active bleeding over the past 2 days.  The pain is very uncomfortable but I've just been treating myself with with heating pad and pain medication.  SHould I go to the ER again.  What could this be?

Did they mention anything like that would happen? I would call and see if you should go in. Just to make sure.

I agree you should call your doctor, have them do some blood tests and Pap smear and also an ultrasound to see is the fibroids may be causing these symptoms. I also have fibroids and I have very long periods because of that. I pass small clots every cycle towards the ends of my periods; I assume is from the fibroid. I will be having a myomectomy next month to have the fibroid taken out and still preserve fertility. Good luck to you'
