conception chances after miscarriage

I am 30, yrs old. Married since 6 yrs , actively trying to conceive, February 10th 2014 was my LMP. March 10th  2014 I found out I was pregnant. First doctor appointment was on April 10th . Doctor told fetal growth and heart beat was not as expected , so I may miscarry. Same happened in a week, heart beat stopped . Took misoprostol to induce abortion on April 16th. Fetal expelled and had periods for one week. After I recovered immediately and want to conceive again ......now May 28th still I didn't get my periods.... could I be pregnant..... usually I had anovulatory,,,irregular periods.... having a strange  heavy feeling in the right lower near pelvic area ... what should I do..... when to take a HPT. When is my lmp in consideration of missed miscarriage... should I be worried about the heavy feeling..... Thanks for answering my question.

Give it 3 months, i don't think you are pregnant.  My period came two months later.

I think you should wait at least two months for your period because it may take some time to have your period after a miscarriage. My period came 81 days after my D&C, and my periods are very regular. Anyway, everyone one is different.

If you have irregular periods then it may take longer for your first cycle to start however you can get pregnant right after you have a miscarriage. The heavy feeling could be due to ovulation since its only on one side. If you still don't have a period within a week or two look for signs of pregnancy but don't physic yourself out and get false pregnancy symptoms. Take a HPT within a week or two and follow up with a second pregnancy test afew days after.
