how can u tell??

I just found out im 7w3d pregnant. I have been bleeding for about a week now. But i have not been bleeding for 2 days now. But no pain as all. Like no cramps nothing. My dr called me and ordered blood work. My hcg levels were last friday 695 then sunday 664. He said i might have miscarried. But now he keeps ordering me blood work. He said he cant do an ultrasound on me until my levels are over 3000. Idk what to do. This would be my 2nd pregnancy. Im so scared.

I would see another doctor I had the same issue my levels decreasing that was the first thing my doctor did was take an ultrasound I lost all pregancy symptoms and the ultrasound showed I lost the baby but since you still have symptoms I would see another doctor they should be doing an ultrasound at 7 weeks anyway to check for heartbeat etc its routine in most doctor offices good luck

It is possible. It happens to alot of people. I hope your baby is okay, And I agree with Matti4289 you should deffinatley get a second opinion if your doc wont get you an u/s

I hope everything works out for you. I was just diagnosed with a Blighted Ovum last week and am going in for a D&C tomorrow. I still haven't had any bleeding but I can tell my pregnancy symptoms have decreased, although my breast are still quite sore. I had my first ultrasound done at 5.2 weeks and another at 6 weeks (Last week) My doctor said he would do another u/s before the surgery but at this pint I know it is of no use, I don't want to look at another empty sac :( You need to TELL them you want an u/s, my levels were I believe at 572 or around that when they did my first u/s If your Dr refuses then get a second opinion!!!
I hope you the best and I will pray for you and the health of your little one.

That is awesome. Congrats!!! No i have not had an ultrasound. Only blood work. The dr said my hcg level has to be at 3000 to have a decent ultrasound. But my levels were at 664 last sunday. I went and got blood work done friday. The dr is supposed to call me today with my results.

Have you had an ultrasound, like at all? Because at 7 weeks you should be able to see a heartbeat. If it makes you feel any better when I was 6 weeks I bled (Really heavily and red with loads of clots), and I have had a miscarriage so it terrified me, but I went and got an ultrasound and saw my little girls heart pumping away.(: Which was amazing as I didn't get that with my first. But now I'm 21 weeks and 2 days pregnant with my rainbow baby girl.

Sorry i confused you. I bleed for about a week. For the past 2 days i have not been bleeding. No cramps, no pain nothing. I went to the hospital and they only took my blood. They didnt check me or anything. Said it was a threatened miscarriage. But the dr said he wants to check me every 2weeks to see whats going on. He said it dont sound like a miscarriage to him. But you never know.  But i will keep u updated on whats going on.

I don't know what to tell you, other then you really need to get an ultrasound, because all of those results are just confusing me. I would say don't give up hope until you know for sure that, that little heart inside of you is no longer pumping. Keep us updated, and I wish you the best of luck for you and your little one.
