misscarrage 6 weeks

I was 6 weeks pregnant yesterday. I had blood on sheets and some on nightgown. I went to the bathroom and passed 2 clots and what I would say was tissue the size of my thumb nail. Now nothing..no blood or cramping. I wanted to go naturally but now I'm not sure?  Any advice. Did I really miscarry. If I didn't I'd be shocked. Help.

Having just really started mine on the 17th also, I know what you are going through.  I am 11 weeks along, but I was diagnosed with a blighted ovum at 7.5 weeks.  So this is no surprise to me, actually a bit of a relief to finally have all my doubts answered about the diagnosis.

My clots were like passing a prune.  Huge.  I bled a lot.  I too did not want to go to the ER because what would they tell me; a) you need a d and c, which I didn't want,   b) you are having a miscarriage, go home and wait it out, well duh  or c) spend a ton of time in the ER uncomfortable, spend a ton of money, and get no where.

My husband stayed near home the whole day so if I needed him he was my errand boy or ear to listen.

They say if you fill a super pad in less than an hour you Must go to the ER.  I too disregarded this.  I was probably close to filling one each 15 minutes.  I don't really know, I chose to just stay on the toilet reading a book for most of the bad parts.

Any questions feel free to ask.  I have loads more I can share.

I am no doubt having a miscarry. I have bad cramps and a medium to heavy flow. I still don't want to go to dr. Any warning signs that show I should go to dr?  How long until this passes?  Thank you!

One more thing. I would really try to go to a clinic if you can. If you had a miscarriage and everything doesn't come out by itself, it can cause infection after a bit. Take care and keep us posted.

The test might still show pregnant, especially an early test. I think they can detect as low as 50 HCG. You could have twins with only one lost, it has happened before. That's the bad thing with no insurance, *****. You could wait a week or so and test again. That would be the only thing to do I guess. I know how hard it is to wait and wonder! Do you have a planned parenthood or clinic near you where you could get a blood test? Good luck, I hope it works out that everything is ok and you're still pregnant.

Thanks for your comments. It is now early evening and nothing more. No more blood and no cramps. If I take a pregnancy test would it be positive. I'm really trying not to go to dr because I have no maternity medical insurance. New policy doesn't cover maternity for 12 months. We were working on it but nothing yet.
I almost hope it was twins and I lost one, could it be?  Please advice. Thanks.

Sounds like you at least started one. I agree with earthangle, call your doctor and see if you can come in.
