pregnancy after d&c
This February I was pregnant and miscarried, My doctor recommended the d & c. I chose too, Now its been nine weeks & I have been waiting to start my period. Hasn't happen.....Just took another at home pregnancy test. Surprise I'm pregnant. Is it safe for me to be pregnant this soon? I am a Military wife & our base hospital is really bad about getting us in for our apts, my last pregnancy they wouldn't schedule me a appointment until I was 10 weeks along.Do I need to be seen ASAP?

Same thing happened to me. Got pregnant 6 weeks after a D&C back in 2009 and have a healthy/safe pregnancy. I too am a military wife and I just called my primary care doc at the base and explained to the nurse what was going on. She told me at the time there was a chance it was still left over hormones from my miscarriage causing me to get a positive test. But that was not the case because I had taken on a week earlier that came back negative. They brought me in and did a vag ultrasound.
I hope all works out for you!! GOOD luck and congrats on getting pregnant again so soon. For me that was the only thing that helped me get over the miscarriage...something we wanted soo badly!

After the D&C I waited 24 days and my period arrived, but on average it's normally 4 weeks.
Your obviously very fertile and that's a fantasic sign :-)

I think you should get in asap so they can give you a date and see how far along you are. Congratulations! After my d&c i conceived again after my period. But ive heard many stories of women who got pregnant before getting their period back and they had healthy babies.

Many woman have experienced this and everything is fine. After he D&C women normally wait around 4-6 weeks for there ( normally 4 weeks) so by the time u would have started ur period u have fallen pregant instead, so don't worry.
I had a miscarriage in Jan, found out on my 12 week scan too! I waited 3 months as I was not ready to fall pregant so soon, but now am trying, hope am as lucky as u with falling pregant so fast.
Have a lovely pregancy and enjoy it.
