I'm having a D and C tomorrow should I have a sono done before they do it to make sure the dr didn't make any mistakes I've heard some horror stories. My sono showed a 6 week preg no heart beat I was supposed to be 8 weeks i still feel preg cause of the hormones but I had some cramps lastnight

Aww, I am so sorry you are going thru this.  I had a d&c last week,  I didn't request a 2nd sono b/c I could clearly see that there was no hb @ 12 wks-- baby measured 10.  Since you are so early, it wouldn't hurt to request a second sono, or even to reschedule your d&c for a week or so away.  There is no danger in waiting.  Good luck.  I think a second sono (even if it;s still bad news) will help you feel better with your decision.  Also, just fyi, the d&c was pretty painless and much less traumatic than I thought it would be. The day I found out that the baby had died was far worse. :(
Seding you ((((hugs))))) and prayers.

It's a nightmare you never realize all the things that can go wrong when you get preg and it's the right time in your life and you just can't have a baby you see so many people who have healthy preg and healthy babies and they don't want them. ever since I was little I wanted to be a mom and I work with kids I just don't know where I'm gonna find the strength this time I had an ectopic two years ago and it took that long to get preg agaian I just want a family I know I'm not the only one to go three this I'm just venting thanks for listening

Sorry to hear that. Go with your gut. Ive heard some places wont do another sono due to cost but if you feel like there could be a mistake or it just puts you a little more at ease to check again. I definitely would demand it.
