I'm sorry for your loss. It is common to feel pg for a few months. It usually takes a few cycles for your body to get back to normal and your cycles to regulate. I would make sure your numbers go to zero. If you ttc and they have not you can get a false pos hpt. It can cause you more heartache than you already have. Try to rest and relax and stay hydrated. Best wishes to you. I'm here if you need to talk.
Thank you, another thing that is weird is that I took a pregnancy test today out of curiousty due to my symptoms and it came up positive..how weird is that??? just last friday at the hospital my hcg was 198 and my urine test was negative...i cant wait to go bk to the doctor cuz i'm really nervous now...
That is weird it showed up in your blood but not in your urine. Def go and get your blood drawn to see if your numbers are going up and if they are doubling have them done again and then a u/s. Chances are you could be pg. Good luck and keep me posted!
keys, i also had my tubes reversed and suffered a eptopic in june 2008 and a miscarriage in jan 2009, i am ttc now and i know after my miscarriage it took 3 cycles for me to get back to my normal cycle. i hope and pray you get the answers from your doctor. and i am sorry for you loss and we are here to talk and listen anytime.
What i meant to say also was after my eptopic it took 6 weeks for my HCG to reach zero i ended up with a shot of methrotrexide. and i know after a tubal reversal the risk for tubal pregnancy becomes much high, have them make sure it wasnt in your tubes, because i had no clue i was pregnant in my tubes till i started bleeding and then stopped and then it returned with some weird pain not unbearable but different they told me at the ER i had had a misscarriage and then i had an ultrasound and they told me it was in my left tube. just because you bled and your hcg dropped some doesnt mean there isnt something in your tubes, like i said i was in the hospital 2 days left and went back and had my blood drawn 3 more times before they decided to do the methrotrexide shot. so talk to your doctor. best of luck
Sorry to here abt ur loss, your expierences and advice is so helpful. I feel that I also could have been in denial abt losing the baby, however I still feel pains in my lower back and I am still having to chk in with doc every 2 days my HCG has dropped to 38 since last checked on Monday. I will have a ultrasound on friday to make sure wat eva is near my rt tube is gone or they advised me of the shot as well. My doc seems to think I should go with Invitro to skip the tubes completely. I made a appt for next week to chk it out. Have you thought abt that?
acually no i havent I have made an appointment with the doctor that reversed my tubes to see what he thinks I should do. It has been 4 cycles since my miscarriage and its going on my 5th I think my period is on the way just in time for the weekend!!! But there are good days for me and bad, where I get mad at the world and then there are days I see a baby and my heart melts or a pregnant woman and I am like why cant that be me….i guess good things come to those that wait and when its meant to be god will see fit. Good to see your hcg dropped that’s a good sign mine never dropped below 120 on its own with my tubal. But with the miscarriage it took maybe a week and I was back to zero. The tubal was the worst experience, keep me posted on everything. When I had the shot the only side effect o had was the weakness and I couldn’t eat they say for about a week you will feel different I felt weird for over a month and lost 17 pounds. I only needed one round of the shot and it did the trick I didn’t bleed or anything I spotted I think once that’s it and didn’t get a period for another 6 weeks after that. And I wasn’t going to continue to TTC because it was so hard and then in January I was in the ER with sharp pains in my side and I had my period dec 17th and it was only dec 31st and they told me I was pregnant I was shocked….i am here if you want to chat
