what to think!?

I had a blighted ovum in March of 11 and a spontaneous abortion in July. I found out I was pregnant Friday..did a lil calculations from my last period (12/4/11) if I put it in a time line and it keeps lining up to about 5 weeks but my period cycle isn't 28 day its about 30-31..so I'm thinking am a lil earlier then 5 weeks.I went to the er yesterday just to get an idea about what was going on because of my previous miscarriages... the Dr said I was to early to see much but that I was pregnant! Could this be a good sign of a good pregnancy?

First of all: Congratulations! it is very difficult to tell because every pregnancy is different and your previous losses didn't follow a pattern.
The best thing to do right now is to take it easy although it is easy to say than done. Help your body with a healthy diet and prenatal vitamins. Don't exercise heavy, just regular walks. No heavy lifting.
At 5 weeks pregnant and with previous miscarriages you should be able to be seen by your family practice doctor or by your ob-gyn for an early preliminary screening. So book an appointment today! Congratulations again :) Good luck and keep us posted.

its hard to say as each pregnancy is different and you miscarry for different reasons, but you have as good as chance of this being a healthy bub/pregnancy as anyone else does, I think they start doing tests etc if you have had 3 miscarriages in a row, so lets hope this one sticks :)
