5% of MS patients are under the age of 18 -- most of those areteenagers and the minority are under the age of 10.
This aside, I understand your fears as a parent, but before you start jumping to conclusions, you should take your child to a neurologist.
Uasparrow,
I had an email newsletter arrive today that contained several informative articles about pediatric MS. It said that about 4% of all MS patients are children - you can access the newsletter through webMD. Drop me a message if you can't figure out the link.
best wishes to you and your family,
Lulu
I agree that you should take your child to a neurologist, but before you start racing with ideas through your head, you shpuld realize that the purpose of seeing a doctor is to evaluate whether your fears are substantiated or not.
could this be anything else? of course the answer is "yes" otherwise why would you need an evaluation for your child.
