Adderall for fatigue?

My neurologist prescribed me Adderall for fatigue. Has anyone else been prescribed this/has it helped? Thanks!

Yes, it's the only thing that helps me, and I've tried Provigil, Amantadine and Ampyra (off label).

For me, 40mg works best, but I can't deal with mouth dryness that can cause. So most days I take 20mg extended release, some days none. This is an amphetamine, though, and I certainly don't recommend it for anyone with addictive tendencies. Personally I have no trouble starting and stopping it, have no side effects other than some dryness, and no high.

This drug tends to decrease appetite fairly significantly. For me, that can be a good thing :-)  By dinner time, though, it's worn off and I'm really hungry.

I tried it at 10mg and 20mg but all it did was make me sleepy.  I guess it affects different people differently.
