Any connection between asthma and M.S

I like to see if anyone with asthma around here that is being treated with M.S.
I have asthma and was on advair  from 2000 -2009 now i am on symbicot.
I started feeling fatigue very soon after I was on advair and never thought about it could be M.S. related. now that i look back I had symptoms that fits M.S.

But after my neuro told me that I should have been treated way back(10yrs ago), i am wondering if there are any connection between M.S. , adavir or asthma.

thx,
I have been healthy until 2000 when i hit with chronic bronkites from then on, i went down hill. Up until then i never even used any meds in my life and didn't know what headache was.

Just trying to see if it all started with breathing problems and meds added with it to avoid the problem. Well , hopefully someday we will have a good answer from research. usually research is good/solid/proven now & then will be bad/dangerouse in 10yrs from being good and then turn out to be good again.

hmm the above paragraph confused me..lol

I have asthma and was on advair for years prior to me taking  myself off of it. I prefer Qvar and salbutamol for my asthma.
I am presently going through some weird stuff re neuro and have done for years now on and off. I do have lesions, just not had the MRI with contrast yet.

Hope you find answers and I think because we all react differently to things, there is probably someone out there who has reacted the same way as you, it isn't known yet that is all.
takes research and people like you and me and everyone else to speak up, easier said that done!
Best wishes

Thanks for the info.  I just googled it and will check into it further.  I do have a pulmonary function test in the works, sometime in the near future.

Did you have a biopsy done??  The thought of that scared the hell out of me!  lol  My neuro talked of doing one when I was being seen at the Cleveland Clinic, but it never happened.

My biggest problem is that I am severely allergic to NEEDLES!  The nurses just laugh at me when I tell them to make a note of that in my file.

I also tell them that I am absolutely NOT the right candidate for MS.  Wish it was that easy, huh?  lol

I do not know the answer to that question sorry.

To addicted- I am currently being checked for something called sarcoidosis after 15 months with an MS dx.  Breathing problems are generally the number one symptom of sarcoidosis.   You may want to look it up and see if your issues seem to match.  Just a thought :)

I am in limboland so I don't know if my vote counts...lol...but I have had neuro issues for 5 years and just in the last few months have started having breathing trouble.  Shortness of breath and wheezing.  Was put on Qvar.

Not that I know of. I have asthma and the Doctors say they are not related. Someone else may have a different take.
