Hi, I've just received a copy of the letter sent by my neurologist
to my GP, regarding my recent brain MRI (without contrast)
The letter states that no cerebral abnormality was reported. However,
it goes on to say that there is "some fluid signal seen in the left mastoid
air cells. This is non specific, but may represent inflammation"
The letter also states that this is "clearly not relevant to his (my) symptoms
(tingling limbs,twitching muscles etc.)"
Is there anybody who could put this into laymans terms for me ?
Also, would this be something that needs further examination, or
just one of those things that I should just forget about.
Many thanks in advance
Steve.
