I have read a few books on MS, but one that is a pretty easy read is MS for dummies.

Curing MS by Howard Wiener. It is not a cure it is the history of MS and all the treatments. My MS nurse gave it to me when I was diagnosed. It made me understand MS.

You're welcome! I quite liked it because, while it does contain the factual science of the disease (as far as it's currently understood), it's also about how to live life fully with a chronic illness. It's not rife with Pollyanna-style positivity, but gets to the nub of the challenges that effect not just our bodies but our head spaces when there's this crazy unknown we have to incorporate into our lives.
I also found it extremely helpful for my husband to read. We'd just been married a few weeks when all this happened, so it was a real adjustment for the both of us. We really needed to be on the same page as far as our MS education.
Thanks for bringing up this topic. I may be due for a re-read, come to think of it! Just started a new job, and those extra hours have precipitated a reassessment of things. And what's our watchword with MS? (the crowd joins in) ADAPTABILITY.
I recall finding The Multiple Sclerosis Manifesto to be good.
