Holy cow! I can't imagine even looking at 542 questions let alone trying to answer them all. What a marathon endurance event this test must be - I'll wait to read about part two.
Rest easy tonight,
Laura
Rena, thanks for the heads up on the test. Like I said i go in on Thursday. I had my IAC MRI done on Sept 11, between the two storms.............
Dr. office and pushed up my appt from Oct 20 to next Monday...........hummmmmm
Kinda makes me wonder. Will keep you all updated.
P.S.
db thanks for the answer. Now, lets see if I can remember it that long...........LOL
HUGS,
BETH
Sounds pretty grueling! I'm glad that you felt it want alright though. Rest up and enjoy your clean house. We'll look forward to hearing all the details later. Take it easy and go put your feet up.

ps: it's Roosevelt..just in case they ask you again! ;-)
I am home and I am EXHAUSTED!!! AND THEY HAVEN'T FINISHED YET!!! I have to go back on Tuesday to do a questionaire that has 542 questions and it is supposed to take 1 1/2 hours!
I think today went alright though...the woman testing me said that the neuro/psych asked that all the tests be done on me and that is why it took so long. Some of the questions were incredibly stupid though...I live in Canada and have been out of school for 28 years...how the heck am I supposed to know who the President of the U.S.A. was during the second world war??? Oh Well...I didn't bother to even try that one! A lot of the tests were pretty tough and the math part totally sucked...I can hardly add 2+2 and they wanted me to do algebra? Not likely!
Anyway, I am soooo incredibly tired now I think I can sleep for a week. They asked on a scale of 0-10 how tired I felt and I told them a 9...she asked what I was going to do when I got home...I said lie down...she said, "if the house is a mess and needs to be vacuumed, do you think you would do it?" I responded that I know that the house is a mess...a two year old just left last night and I KNOW it needs to be vacuumed but it is still going to be there in the morning so NOT A FRIGGIN CHANCE HONEY!!! I will give you more details tomorrow ok but for now suffice it to say that I am going to go curl up on the couch and rest and guess what?
HUBBY CLEANED THE HOUSE FOR ME WHILE I WAS GONE!!! YAHOO!!! I love my man!!!
Talk to you all later ok if not tomorrow morning!
Lots of Hugs,
Rena
Rena Girl!
How did you make out?
-Shell
Okay now.....where are you??
I'm thinking of you and hoping things are going good...well good in the sense that they can see all the things that are going bad......ugh....
Talk to you when you get home!!
Love

Best wishes for a lousy day tomorrow!! LOL. Be sure to have that nice hot shower, spend lots of time on your feet, and.........you get the idea. All the stuff you have been avoiding! I'll be praying for a good evaluation, and a step forward. We havn't had a good weinie roast for awhile. What say we do "evil neuro" Fri night!
Hugs and prayers, Maggie
I sure appreciate your words of encouragement to feel lousy (tee hee) and do not so well on my test hehe...time will tell!
db...I don't know if the neuro/psych is affiliated cause it is being done at the Rehab hospital here.
Well, I think I am going to have a hot bath and see if I can stay up fairly late and have to be out of the house by 0700 tomorrow so that is about all I can do right? I will let you know how it goes as soon as I get home!
Lots of Hugs,
Rena
Wishing you good luck for tomorrow Rena. I know this will sound weird to someone who doesn't understand, but I hope you feel lousy tomorrow. My thoughts will be with you all day.
Hugs
Moki
This test is to measure your congnitive ability, right? Maybe you should get up super early so you are really tired by the time they start the test....lol..
I hope this helps you get the help/treatment you need...will be thinking of you.
Lauri
Good luck! The most important to remember is that they're supposed to be here to help you, not hurt you. A good psychologist will do that - so we'll hope you've got a good one!
Good luck tomorrow. I hope this gets the process moving in the right direction, and that you ultimately get the help you are seeking. Do you know if the neuropsych is affiliated with the MS clinic at U of A?
I go for mine on the 25th. Hey, that will just be another thing for them to mark off the list...............LOL
Sending you hugs and good thoughts
Beth
Rena, you are in my thoughts and prayers tomorrow, just be yourself and as calm and relaxed as if you were in you kitchen, eating breakfast and reading the newspaper, and I'm sure it will go ok.....
And don't let that litlte doubt get into your head. They will be thorough, and not care about your silly neuro. :)
Much (((hugs)))
~Sunnytoday~
Good luck, my friend............maybe take you a nice looooong hottttttttttt shower before you go............bet that would make your symptoms be noticeable!!!!
You'll be in my thoughts and prayers.
Hugs

Sounds like you made it through the icepick/face pain without the 'roids so you are ready for your test--that is good news.
I hope the results of the test move you forward to better treatment.
