CBC count

I took a blood test and I am concerned about the results specifically the low Lymph numbers and high SEG. Any comments?
WBC/5.3
RBC/4.58
Lymph Absolute/0.6
Lymph Man/11%
SEGS/79%
Everything else in normal range.
Thank you, Kent

Since this is an MS forum, our members are generally not knowledgeable about blood chemistry. If you have concerns, the best person to ask is the doctor who ordered the testing.

As info, Segs are Neutrophils, a type of white blood cell.  They can be on the higher end of the normal percentage for a lot of reasons including stress.

I am a laboratory scientist with 10 years doing CBC's.  .  I would not be concerned about these results.

I do not know what scale they were using. I have heard of SED but not SEGS. SED is inflammation.
