Calmer, and thanks...

To all my friends here...

Thank you SO much for all the support you give me.  I am better this morning, mentally anyway.  I have a new system as of last night, to mark down when I take my meds. Good idea from all.

My sister is still in the hospital with "the I have no idea what" syndrome. They "think" it is her appendix and will know more today. The one up side of this whole thing for me anyway, if she has surgery today/tomorrow, it is the same hospital where my dad is having is heart surgery tomorrow. Must have done it for convenience for me huh?! (Always about me isn't it! LOL)

I am seeing my neuro today, with a whole list of symptoms, and questions. I need her to write down HOW and WHEN I am supposed to take the meds she has prescribed to me in the past. (A good suggestion from here). I am wondering if she is going to bring up the DMD meds too. I will ask about it. Physically she will see me, how awful I am doing, although I was not in great shape the last time either. Think I am getting worse, and quickly.

That is it for now, thanks again to everyone here.

Michelle

Good Morning Michelle,
So glad to hear that today is a bit better.  If it is her appendix, that is almost always a same day surgery - laproscopic incision, take it out, and send you home.  Gone are the days of hanging out at the hospital.

Don't forget our message - it IS all about you!

I'm so glad you are feeling a bit better. It's good you are seeing your neuro today, so she can document your sx. Can't believe you're not of DMD's yet. At least they didn't tell your sister it is just "stress" LOL. If she is really in pain, they need to find the cause!  I will say special prayers for you and your family tomorrow, for good outcomes for both your Dad's and sister's surgery. Try to rest while your Dad is in surgery, as I know you will be front and center caring for him afterwards.

Hugs & Prayers
Maggie
