Canadian patients & caregivers: please take this MS Society online survey

The MS Society of Canada is undertaking a survey of MS patients and their caregivers as part of the Listening to People With MS initiative.  The intent is to gather information which will help to improve the Society's programs and service and therefore help to improve the live of Canadians with MS.

"Who can take the survey?
Those living with a diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis (MS) or Clinically Isolated Syndrome (CIS);
Those waiting for a diagnosis with respect to MS;
Those with a close relationship with someone with MS or CIS (family member, spouse or partner, friend);
Those who are unpaid caregivers of someone with MS or CIS (family member, spouse, partner or friend who provides care some of the time or all of the time)."

So all you Canadians out there: mummy, Candy, Wobbly, Mike Shuswap, Rena, DiannaKw, littlelawbear, and anyone else who may see this, please take a few minutes to complete the survey.  I did so and that's all the time it took.

I wonder if the US MS Society is doing something like this.  I went and looked at the printed one and it was quite interesting but since I'm South of the Border, couldn't quite get my zip code to match!  :-)

Are you a participant in the NARCOMS registry Sarah?  That's the North American Research Committee On Multiple Sclerosis.  It was started almost 20 years ago by the Consortium of Multiple Sclerosis Centers (cMSc).

It's a global registry for Multiple Sclerosis research, treatment, and patient education.  You complete a comprehensive (confidential) survey when you register (free) and then are notified of update surveys each fall and spring.  They ask some repetitive questions about treatment and functional limitations for the update but also have sections that explore specific areas researchers want answers to.
