Cervical Spine trouble, kyphosis, neck injury, stroke Q's

I've been writing a book for a year now and after going through variably located back pain it seemed to set in and felt more permanent(mid back, neck). This was aleviated by vigorously rubbing my muscles(mostly near the spine) against the 90 degree edge of a pillar in my home. My back FELT better but i was still slumping at my computer too much. With an Xray my doc said the only thing wrong with my neck is a muscle spasm on the left side. I got some free anti-inflammatories but they were only temporary. The spasm the doc saw could have been there for a year or more since its rock solid. Two months ago the pain was unbearable and every single muscle in my upper body was tight and half had spasms of some sort. This is when i read online that kyphosis can disable my ability to sit in a proper form because of the physical degredation. Knowing that was possible was what gave me the will to stick to the thought that its something in my mind that i am doing and not some secret pinched nerve or stenosis that i can demonize. Since then i dedicated 2-3 hours a day to exercising and getting to know the problem. As of now, i have most of my mobility and circulation back but i have some grave concerns that may or may not be warranted.

Apprx. 1.5 years ago i was wrestling with my 6'6" 250lb friend whos got an inch and 30lbs on me... in the pool. Smart i know. He didnt wrestle for 4 years like i did and consequently put me into an irresponsibly tight guillotine chokehold and pulled me underwater. I strained to resist until i heard a tiny pop and suddenly i was trapped inside my body for ~5 seconds, unable to move or think of anything besides quick phrases in my head. My body didnt relax, it froze, fully flexed in position.

This sensation (or lack of) happened again when i was balancing on my butt in a chair and taking large, deep, relaxed breaths and swinging my torso side to side while keeping my head stationary staring into a mirror and holding my knees with my hands. (relaxes my spasmed chest) This time it was an incredibly frustrating experience that lasted ~5 seconds as well. It started just as i put my feet back on the ground and became feint. My hands were hovering a few inches above my knees and i couldnt move or think much. All i could think is i hope i dont die and i hope whatever my brother is doing will lead him to notice my predicament asap (he was in the room). It was a strange feeling like large bumblebees were in my ears(or ear) and my vision was flashing black rapidly(no stars and not gradual at all). The strange thing about this time though is that i also had a sensation in my left side that made me want to correct something(like burping or pooping) but i didnt know what to do and i couldnt do anything.

Strangest thing is, since that happened again my body seems to be healing twice as fast as it has been the past few weeks and now i feel great except for some symptoms i have noticed.

*floaters in my eyes, more in the left than the right
*throbbing sacs an inch in diameter that feel like lymphnodes but pulse like blood is rushing through them only on the left side
-tingling and numbness in both arms(greatly reduced)
*a whooshing river sound when i lay down and turn my head to the left\
*an air sound like when you cup your hand together and sqeeze air out occurs when i push my jaw forward
-nickel sized spasms in the center of my chest and right at the top inside of my collarbones and ribcage(mostly just the left now)
-sore tissue on my thyroid
-trouble swallowing, feeling of edged lump in throat(probably from craning my neck and the kyphosis)
-trouble sleeping
-poor circulation to left side of head
-poor noun memory sometimes that can be remedied by taking large breaths (still testing for concreteness but this usually works)
-sometimes i get the sensation of needing to breath because the left side doesnt have enough oxygen
-tight and convoluted tissue, more on left than right again
*chest makes weezing sounds but lungs seem to both fill

After doing that medley of exercises for a while and after that spastic episode while sitting, my hearing opened up on the left side and is more accute than my right. I can hear reverbs and high pitches i haven't heard in years and i started getting that high pitch "die-out" in my left ear when its quiet and i havnt heard that since i was 20(24 now). When sitting in proper posture and swallowing food i can taste the food better on the left side of my mouth and my entire throat can taste the food as it goes down, not usual. I also was able to control muscles on both sides of my upper body slowly after the last "seizure" and do things i didnt have the coordination to do before like clasp my hands together behind my back and raise them parallel to the floor.

So, how can i tell what those lumps are in my neck on the left and what happened when i couldnt move or think very well those times?

Did i have a pinched nerve that released? Did i get an aneuyrism? Stroke? Vertigo? Blood clot?

I've done quite a bit of reading and i'm concerned because stenosis, MS, trigeminal nueralgia, and ateriovenous malformamtion are all possible

If my doc was right ~3 mo ago about it just being the spasm then i don't know why i had that seizure of mobility and thought. Was it maybe just a pinched nerve that got unpinched? Do pinched nerves cause paralysis. When they're pinched would they freeze me like that? If i go to the doc again should i get head and chest mri's? Can sitting for only one year give me more complications that can be more serious than muscle spasms? What kind of diet can i eat that will clear up arterial plaque and clots?

I havent done that same sitting exercise since but have done all the others with great results and no seizure.

Is it time for my wallet to start fearing for its life as i fear for mine? haha

I would also like to add that concurrent with the other issues i have had an increasing number of floaters in my eyes(moreso in the left) and my arms and hands fall asleep at night easily.

Any "whooshing" sound associated with the neck is an immediate "go to the doctor moment."
The worry here is that the whooshing sound could be a carotid bruit.  I many young patients, this is a benign condition, but in a small percentage of people particularly those that have had neck trauma, this can indicate a narrowing of the coronary artery  due to stenosis or carotid artery dissection.  I am not saying that this is what is going on, but a trained health care provider needs to put a stethoscope on  your neck and have a listen.

It is easy to rule out, but given your length of symptoms, you should really see a doctor.  Stenosis can lead to TIA, loss of cognition, etc.  Again, rather than looking stuff up on the net or askin on the forums, this is one of those things that requires a medical history and hands on exam by a health care provider.

Hello there, rif-

I am so sorry that you are experiencing these strange and frightening symptoms.  Especially at such a tender young age.

I have no clue on where to direct you on the Internet, but I would think your very first step should be a referral to a neurologist.  I would think that an MRI would be in order as well as some other tests.

If you do not have health insurance then, yes, your wallet will, imho, start screaming for it's life.   These tests and the cost of the neuro can get quite extensive.

I definitely wouldn't wait long to be seen.  You may be having some kind of seizure, I don't know.  I am definitely not a doctor.  But, I don't feel that paralyzing thing or the breathing issues would be something to wait on.

Maybe others will have some advise to you as well.  Good luck and welcome to our forum.
