Christmas OT

I have to share this.

We did not decorate for Christmas this year, none of the children were coming home and celebrated with friends on the 22nd.

Christmas Eve I stayed up late, hiding in my bathroom wrapping presents for my DH, and being so tired when I finished, I placed them in my bedroom on my sewing machine table on a box.  I remember doing it because my dad's picture was the top thing on the box.

I figured I would put them on his chair in the morning, often I get up before he does.

I woke up quite late this morning, about 10, by my husband, thanking me for his presents.  I said, ah, I have not yet put your presents out, I was too tired.  No, he said, I found them in my chair in the living room.  I got up, looked to my sewing machine table, no presents, and went in the living room, and there was the wrapping paper and presents.

Needless to say, I needed several cups of coffee to understand the situation.  My presents, placed on the sewing machine table, had moved to the living room.  I slept ALL NIGHT, I did not get up and I do not sleepwalk.

All I can think is Christmas really happened here and there is a message in it somewhere!

I hope everyone had a good Christmas, hopefully with friends and family, and all are safe and sound.
Sarah

All I can add is " Yes Virginia, there IS a Santa Claus"... :-)
And it sounds like it was a wonderful start to your Christmas day!
