hmmmm...plum muffin...sorry honey but that sounds like something that they feed seniors with constipation! hehe he he The seasons will rear their heads I am sure but it is beautiful...hot weather with the beautiful colors of the fall is making for a lot of picture taking in our river valley. I will try to get some pics tomorrow if I am up to it.
Hey Quix...it is supposed to cool off some by the weekend but still in the 20's so that is fine by me. The thanksgiving weekend is supposed to be around 16 and I am going to ask hubby to take me fishing...I don't know if he will but it's worth a try. Just for the day I figure cause we have the puppy dog and it's hard to find a motel that will take animals and the ones that do generally are not that nice...but it will get too cold at night to sleep in the 5th wheel. Our Thanksgiving is on October 13th in Canada. Anyway, I should go get some painting done that needs doing outside...may as well take advantage of the nice weather right? Hope things are well for both of you!
Lots of Hugs,
Rena
Yeah! We had that heat wave here, too! You'll be glad to know it ended here, so that high ridge that was pushing up into BC must have seen the error of it's ways. Today looks cool. Good luck!

Rena, my little "Plum Muffin," (Don't ask me what that means, I have MS. But really it's a term of endearment)
I was surprised to read how hot it was for others around the world yesterday. Virginia was enjoying very mild temperatures. I used to live in Canada and I do not remember anything but TWO seasons, warmer and colder. While I loved living in Canada, I did miss the four seasons of Spring, Summer, Winter and Fall.
Cooler weather is certainly better for this quirky MS. Cold, cold cold, is another story. It makes me achy.
Hope everyone has a nice, slightly warm, slightly cool day.
Heather
Well at least it cools off in the nightime here so it is bearable...we did break another record today with 27 degrees...too warm for me but I stayed home and avoided the worst of it...now it is already cooling off but is going to be hot again tomorrow so I think I will get tomorrows work done tonight while its cool!
Rena
Ahhh....... fall is finally arriving here with reasonable temperatures low 70s/low50's at night. I wish it could stay this way all year, especially when the sun shines like today. This was what I call a "chamber of commerce" day - perfect to show off the best of our area.
Don't fret, winter is not far off for all of us unless you live in the tropics or FL.
Lulu
Yesterday it was 91 degrees, here! I'm so ready for that cooler weather. I'm still running the fan and a/c and sleeping on top of the covers.
Deb
We were supposed to be in the 80s today and tomorrow, but it only hit 74, which is better. I hope tomorrow is the same.
Thursday is supposed to have thunderstorms and much cooler weather. I like the cooler, but the changes in barometric pressure mess with me; hope that front swings by.
Totally, because it's supposed to rain quite a bit on Friday, and I have a soccer match to go to, and it is really hard to enjoy it while bundled up under a rain poncho!
I also have some jewelry that I made and another piece that I repaired to take to a soccer pal, and that would be easier without the rain, too! Oh well, I'd get bored if we had the same weather all the time.
Sending you cool hugs, tee hee,
Kathy
It got up to 87 F here yesterday and today, but our humidity has been better the last couple of weeks. We have a cold front coming in tomorrow so I bet it has already reached Heather, and cooled her weather.
Suppose to be a high of 72 F tomorrow and a low at 50 tomorrow night. YIPPEE!!! My kinda weather!!!!
doni

I'm getting my money's worth, for the central AC I had installed this year!
