Hi guys, well been in touch with Shared Solutions, and things are moving quite quickly.  But, I have just recently wondered about a question about weight gain.  I am paranoid about gaining weight, and for some reason have not really thought about this issue when discussing the DMD's.  I was actually relieved that someone finally is doing something about my situation.

Anyways, what my question is ...... Has anyone experienced weigh gain, and if so, how much is expected?   I have read up on the sites about this drug, and they all say YES, and LOTS of weight, and I have not really heard about this...............

Thanks guys, it is good to know before you begin a new regiment...... I'm kinda nervous about it, but will do the best I can.......

I used Copaxone for about 18 months and no weight gain.

I haven't been on Copaxone very long but weight gain is not an issue for me so far. I am having injection site reactions which they told me will get better the longer I use it.

I had heard some people gain weight while on Copaxone, but I have not gained any weight, I've been on Copaxone since July 2011.

Hi Candy,

I haven't heard of weight gain as a side effect of copaxone. I love that the only side effect for me is the 10 minute bee-sting which you get used to eventually.

I have actually lost 8kgs in 6 months since being on copaxone but that is a result of going gluten-free vegan plus seafood.
