Cramping in Hands, Feet, Leg Calves, Numbness of Both Feet Now Hurts Tingling

It started out as really severe muscle cramping in the legs, fingers, and toes. Now the bottoms' of both feet have been numb and the last few days my baby toe and the one next to the middle hurt and now the tingling in my feet. I have had this jerking reaction like you are about to fall off the bed and catch yourself, although, you are not falling. What is going on? I have suffered from chronic pain for years but this is not fun at all. I moved and had to quit taking my meds and was placed on Suboxsone with nothing else. Could this be the problem. I am a female, 56 years old and weigh 138lbs. Thanks for your help.

I really don't think that it is MS. I just don't know what it could be. Suboxsone is used instead of all of the major pain killers. I don't know which forum to post this numbness and sharp tingling pains in my hands and feet. If you have any suggestions I would greatly appreciate it.

Hi,

Welcome to our community.  Have you been diagnosed with MS?  The cramping you speak of could be caused by many things.  MS doesn't usually affect both sides at the same time, but it's not unheard of- only very unusual.  I'm afraid, I don't know what suboxsone is prescribed for, so I can't speak the potential side effects.

If you have the time, it might help to post a more thorough history- but remember that we are not medical professionals here, we're patients with MS.  

**Many of us have trouble with our vision, so if you do have time to post a more thorough history, try breaking it up into smaller paragraphs.  You will likely get more responses that way, because more of us will be able to read through it.
