Early signs of Ms?

Hey guys I have had some rather odd symptoms that I think may be linked to MS and I wanted the opinion of a MS community before I take any action so I'll start from the beginning
1. It started with extreme fatigue coupled with horrible leg cramps my legs would feel so Incredibly tight and the fatigue was over whelming I was constantly tired and had a complete lack of energy and this stinging/electric feeling in my neck and scalp , not particularly painful but hurts none the less
2. Then what seemed to be all the sudden all these symptoms went away, I mean "poof" gone
3.Then after about 5 months they return with new things the fatigue, dear god the fatigue I'm constantly tired and my legs particularly the backs of my legs are in a permanent state of tightness/cramping
2. I starting having these feelings of stinging/shocking feelings run from my neck to my forehead again quite more painful but only lasting a few moments
3.More recently I find my self forgeting everything where I put my phone or this or that but its ALl the time also I will get up to do something get to that room and completely forget what the hell I was doing, I know everyone has moments like these but they seem to be getting more frequent not to mention my embarrassing complete lack of sex drive
4. I seem to be dropping things more than usual I'm a clumsy person there is no doubt about that but I'll be holding something and then it seems all the sudden I've dropped it

What I know medically I know that my liver enzymes are always slightly elevated and it also stores too much iron I also have low Vitamin D and B12 and that's about it but I have not been to the doctor since the symptoms stoped

I don't want to go to a neurologist just to waste my time so if the community could help guide me in the right direction  and I don't want to jump directly to  the conclusion that I have MS seeing as I have not contacted a medical professional but your opinions and advice would surely be appreciated

Ask the GP to do a neurological exam that is reflexes, pulling and pushing on arms and legs, may be standing with your eyes closed, following the finger or light with your eyes, and possibly walking. If it is abnormal then a neurologist would be the next step.

If the fatigue is your biggest problem no there are no magic bullets for that. You have to learn to pace yourself. I do most of my harder things before noon. I also take hour power naps. Ironically exercise like walking helps. You have to build up. Start with 15 minutes.

Thank you so much for the quick responses but what about these stining/itching painful moments in my scalp I have been to my GP and a rheumatologist but to no avail I can deal with most everything but the fatigue when it hits I'm usless for a day or more and the constant leg pain/tightness/cramp sensation its unbearable and inhibits my sleep do y'all think it is worth seeing a Neuro about? The shocking pain from my neck to forehead especially

Hi there,

I recommend you see your GP as soon as you can because having elevated iron or ferritin in your blood stream can actually be causing you immense problems. Do you have haemachromatosis (spelling ?) or have you been tested for this? I have two family members who can get high iron levels but do not have haemachromatosis. Have you had your levels checked recently?

This may explian the fatigue you are experiencing as high iron causes similar symptoms to iron deficiency anaemia. It's recommended that you have blood taken if your iron is too high and please be aware that iron can affect both your liver and your brain as it tends to store in these places. This may or may not account for some of your symptoms. I am not a doctor by any means so please take my advice and see your GP about what your experiencing.

Take Care,

Karry.

Have you been to your GP? They can be the best place to start. They can order all the blood work for the most likely/easiest to address things and refer you on to a specialist if it seems one is necessary. Nothing you mention seem to scream MS to me, but this is just my (layman's) impression. It may be as simple as correcting your vitamin deficiencies under your doctor's supervision. Hope so!
