It's not gone away and I think I am finally getting through to him that it's not migraine. He got me to drop my head forward and it wasn't nice, he said it was a positive Lhermitte sign.

I have been dealing with involuntary toe movements for four years.  It started on the right foot and a year later the toes on my left foot began.  They make different movements.  The right foot toes make a waving movement. We call it my happy foot.  The foot sometimes waves and sometimes the big toe drops and the other toes goes upward and locks.  We call this foot bi-polar because of the alternating happy-angry movements. LOL.
It has progressed to my calves, tingling and a pin prick sensation and now my thighs with spasticity and weakness.  My fingers also started tapping on their own.
My favorite diagnosis was " moving toe syndrome".  Yes I actually was told that from a neurologist.  That is when I stopped pursuing an answer until these other symptoms began and more than simple uncontrolled toe movements.  MRI showed normal as did B12, Copper and Zinc.  So we will see....

I am also in Limbo and have had the toes fanning out and then curl under since this past January. When I am really tired at end of day, it happens on both feet.  During the day, just my right foot.  Does not happen when walking just standing or sitting.

Neurologist #2 said it is Dystonia.  I am not so sure about that.  I think it may be muscle spasms. I now have an appointment with Neurologist #3 at the university and specialty is movement disorders.  I am hopeful.

I would suggest that you try and take pictures of what is happening with your phone so that you can show your doctor.

Take care,
Robin

Yes, toes curling in odd directions did happen during at least one of my daughter's attacks.

Limbo land *****, I am so close to being diagnosed but because insignificant change in MRI I wasn't... My toes aren't going right under or anything, it's like when someone tickles your foot and they curl up a wee bit... And the tingling stuff goes from annoying to burning and painful.

Tis an odd disease this one :)

Tingling thing goes from Ok it's there, to what 's going on major annoyance. I wouldn't describe my thing as curling under except perhaps for pinkie toe which has gone from straight up to lying on side in last couple of years. Limbo land  is hostile  territory : ( take care, you have back up here!!

Sounds a bit like it, when I walk my foot looks deformed if that makes sense, it's curled like a wee baby, not toes all nice and flat, I also have the tingling sensations, horrid aren't they

I am in limbo too but I have issues with left foot/leg -mostly tingling but my outer toes on left side and turning out and under resulting in weirdness when I lift left leg - ie foot not level. Is that similar ?
