Given up

Have not been on in while, I found out that I have to take b12 shot because I am b12 diffency, while I found out that I am not that low, normally levels of b12 is 200 and I am 195.  I have totaly giving up on doctors,  I still have the numbness in my arms and legs that come and goes. It does effect both sides, one side at a time. I have a chronic nerve twitch in my left eye and sometime my left side face twitches.  I get this burning sensation done my spine, once in a while.  I have sereval MRI of the brain and spin also  a spinal tap.  They look at me like I am nuts.

Have you been taking B12 and not seen any improvement in your levels or symptoms?

Have you had your blood homocysteine and methylmalonic acid levels tested? "A more sensitive method of screening for vitamin B12 deficiency is measurement of serum methylmalonic acid and homocysteine levels." (http://www.aafp.org/afp/2003/0301/p979.html). This might help determine if you really are B12 deficient.
