I was treated back in June 08 at Hopkins with an "experimental" treatment of High-Dose Cyclophosphamide for Moderate to Severe Refractory Multiple Sclerosis. It was a 3 day treatment much like Chemo, my immune system was wiped out, and my blood counts taken to near zero. I spent 3 weeks having my blood counts being brought back up. Since then the unwelcome visitor has been quite and all subsequent MRI's and blood work have confirmed that the MS I HAD is in remission! Johns Hopkins is doing great work with MS research and they have a great WEBSITE, thats what lead me to them.
