A flare for me can be anywhere from three days to three months...  But if it's that bad, I would definitely start talking about steroids.

to Zackmomie, lovemybostons, Prettymomma,Rendean,

Thankyou all for your kind words and suggestions of steroid treatment which I will take up.

I think something is going on because I am having problems digesting food its all moving too slowly.

My abodomen is a little tender because of this on going constipation I dont think its acute
but more a slugish system which has been ongoing for 3yrs.
Have had ultra sound of abdomen so thats OK.

I always feel like the messages from the brain are being cut off and this happens when I am in a flare.

I will visit Docs tommorow.

Thanks again everyone its great that you all know how this thing works tarter

I'm sorry you feel so bad. The previous suggestions for steroids is what I would suggest as well. Call your neuro and tell him what is going on.

My longest flare was 8 weeks with vertigo. I hope for your sake that this flare ends quickly! Don't forget to rest, it's especially important during a flare (according to my neuro)

Sending good thoughts your way to end this flare soon!

Gentle hugs,
Ren

Hi there,
Sorry you are suffering so bad.  My first obvious flare lasted 6 weeks and I came out of with little residual sx's.  Lets hope yours is shorter and you recovery nicely.
I do get steriods now when I am having an obvious flare.  I don't know if u have that option??
I am trying to get a treatment started right now myself and the hassle is making me wonder if it is worth it :)
I wish upon you that all pain subsides and your flare ends as you finish reading this note. Now if it works please let me know as maybe I could win the lottery.

Blessings and hugs
Danielle
