Here we go again ... another new week and time to share

What's happening for everyone this coming week?

I have my followup tomorrow morning with the surgeon and it will be the big reveal - I haven't seen my foot since the surgery on Thursday and have no idea what my incisions will look like.

Saturday is our local NMSS walk, and I will be present with my team even if I can only hobble a short distance.  In between, those days I will be off work.  I have a medical leave until the surgeon gives me a release to return.  He thinks that will be about 10 days post-surgery.

So what's up with the rest of you this week?  Who's walking? Who's doing doctor appointments?  Who wants to do lunch? LOL

wishing you all well,
Lulu

Taxes and GP visit this week. That's plenty. Don't really have much the rest of this week. Guess I get to be a free spirit and go with the flow. Glad to have the taxes done. Yay!

In MN,  my DH is meeting his baby brother for the first time ever.  It's been VERY interesting, to say the least.  They are both in their 70's......Miracles do occur.

Hope everyone is ok.  Had Tysabri #4 last week and looking forward to my 2 weeks of energy!

Have a good week everyone

L, sounds like you're doing good with your foot surgery and yes, I'd like to meet for lunch. Hbananas, I hope you get in to see the neurosurgeon soon. John, I'm sure your stent will go good and I'll be thinking about your son as he starts his next round of chemo. Lisa, I'd love to listen to your Celtic playing. Sorry if I missed anyone else with big happenings.

This morning I'm going with my partner for her pre-op for her hysterectomy.

Tues - b-day party for the soon to be 4yrs old daughter of my brother's gf.

Thurs - big day at the rheumie to see if I fit into any of the diseases/disorders he had in mind now that my labs and everything is back.

Fri - PT and I'm working all week in-between appts.

My youngest son (25) starts round 7 of  8 of  his first phase of Chemo today for  Lymphoma  Non  Hodgkins.

I check  in  to the hospital on Tuesday at 6am  for my angiogram, I'll have a stent installed, ( is that the right word?)    not for any blockage,  its to correct a reverse flow in an artery.  Best way  to describe what this is,  its like a backwash occurring .

This is the cause of my fatigue these past few months,  My cardiologist found during my annual visit &  by asking me  a few key questions,  then he scheduled a stress test base on my answers.

I would like to  talk about last week and my six week follow up for using Cpap.

I met with Dr & he downloaded the chip,  it's  really amazing report that he went over with me,  I only missed two nights, it showed the amount  of leakage,  how many times I got up each night,  I began using the Cpap just four hours  a night and  ramped up to over seven hours after two weeks.  I'm very pleased with the Cpap.  Best sleep in years.

take care everyone.

Wow a lot going on for everyone.

Same stuff for me. Training Grady, painting, and riding. My DH bought me a really good used english saddle for my birthday. We are also going to a Grassroots Music Festival and I am participating as a dancer with a cat head at a friend's art opening.

No, Lulu you didn't miss anything.  I picked up my angiogram CD and that's what the report says.  I hope it didn't grow, but just wasn't as measurable on the original MRA in January.  Because the ophthalmic artery is part of it, it's not suitable for coiling, and I would like the surgeon to tell me if he can clip it and move the ophthalmic artery or something.

Working Mon., & Tues. Hopefully a bike ride with my sis on Wed.  Thurs., I play my guitar for 1/2 hr at work of all places...it's their cultural diversity day, and I'll be playing some Celtic fingerstyle stuff, and maybe throw in a jazzy piece to catch everyone off guard!

Friday, I babysit.

Have a good week, everybody!

Did I overlook that news about your aneurysm growing or was that something that came up while I was out of it last week?  8mm means it's time to start making plans, right?

Hi!

THis Wednesday I am seeing a neurologist who performed an NCV test for me last winter. At the time of the test he suspected MS. He told me about a patient who had symptoms but no positive test results for 20 years! He stuck with her. I like him already!

I also have some eye issues going on and have been referred to an ophthalmologist. I got the name of a neuro-ophth in my area. I'll try to make an appointment with him soon. Calling tomorrow.

Have a great week, all!

If I lived closer I'd do lunch.  :)

The only definite plan I have for this week is to take Dave to the VA for his appointment with his shrink on Friday.

I may do some gardening if the weather cooperates as long as I am feeling good. And yes I will take it easy and not over do...

Thursday evening is Bible study at the church, I will be going to one or the other not sure which one as of yet.  Wednesday mom goes to he PCP. Monday and Friday, not a whole lot of anything planned as of yet.

A dear friend of mine husband passed away this morning so there will be a funeral this week when they get all the arrangements made.

Here's hoping I actually get an appointment with the neurosurgeon.  Now that I know my aneurysm is 8mm, not 5, and that the ophthalmic artery is actually growing out of the side of it, I am very eager to hear what my options may be.
