Oh, thank you for making me laugh! No, the "gadget" on my head is a joke. It is a pair of salad tongs (for serving salads at the table) that someone cut in two pieces and put on a bent wire. You put the wire on your head like a headband. Then it looks like the gadget is going through your head.
I also hope that your condition doesn't become so serious that you need to wear something silly, but it does make people laugh. I love to make people laugh.
I'm sorry to hear that it would be hard for you to obtain an MRI. I pray that you also feel better soon. Thank you for joining us!

TQ for reverting your recommendation. It would be very costly for me to get a MRI done as I cannot afford that on private hospitals - medical expenses in our country is quite expensive. The waiting list in our government hospitals would take years. I have to check with my insurance company if my medical insurance covers this kind of treatment.
At the moment, I consulting a physician and it's too early to see any improvment. Thanks again but don't mind me asking you what is the 'metal gadget' on your head in your picture. Is it some kind of gadget that you have to wear to ease your conditions? If it, I am so sorry to know that you got a more serious case than mine and I hope things will not get so bad for me.
Take good care and get well soon.

Hi, I'm sorry you didn't get a response. The curving of your spine is called "scoliosis" (not sclerosis). So you may have found yourself to this forum by mistake. X-rays cannot show multiple sclerosis.
But, you do have some symptoms that are definitely neurological. They are probably from nerve irritation in your back, possibly from osteoarthritis. I would recommend that you be seen by a neurologist to evaluate the nerves in your legs.
With the symptoms also in your hands and tongue, you can't rule-out a brain problem. In that case, the neurologist would probably want to do an MRI of your brain and entire spine. That is my recommendation for you.
Good luck,
